This project trains and employs adult women in skills they can use to earn decent incomes on a sustained basis. Zimbabwe has a high unemployment rate, despite very high literacy rates. Women and girls are the demographic that bears the brunt of this situation.  The project provides women with training in sewing and business skills, which enables them to make and sell various products - stuffed animals, clothing, curtains, bags, and other items. The jobs and skills are leading to socio-economic transformation and dignity for women, who have traditionally relied much on males in their families for steady incomes and family upkeep.
